The contact form may transmit the information you enter: last name, first name, email address, subject, and message content.

Technical data may also be processed by the providers required to host and operate the website and protect the form, in accordance with their own policies.

This information is used to receive your request, understand its purpose, reply to you, and, where applicable, continue the conversation you initiated.

The legal basis may be legitimate interest when processing a general contact request. When your message concerns a potential project or collaboration, processing may also be necessary to take pre-contractual steps requested by the person concerned.

This portfolio does not use automated marketing or newsletters.

Messages are kept for as long as necessary to process and follow up on the request, then deleted when they are no longer needed, subject to any applicable legal obligation.

Data submitted through the contact form is kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last exchange, then deleted when it is no longer needed to process the request.

Formspree: technically processes messages submitted through the form so they can be received and forwarded to Charlotte. See Formspree's privacy policy for its own practices.

Cloudflare Turnstile: is used to protect the form from spam, bots, and abusive automated submissions. The token is verified server-side by the /api/contact route through Cloudflare's Siteverify service. No secret information is published on this page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Vercel: hosts and technically operates this portfolio. Vercel may process technical data related to requests, security, and operation according to its own terms. See its privacy policy.

The providers used may process some data from countries outside the European Economic Area. The applicable terms and safeguards depend on each provider, its contracts, and its privacy policy. The links above provide access to their current information; no guarantee of exclusively European data storage is made here.

When the GDPR applies, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, object to certain processing, and, where the conditions are met, exercise your right to data portability.

The website implements reasonable technical measures to protect the form and submitted data, including HTTPS, server-side data validation, and server-side validation of the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot challenge.

Vercel Web Analytics: is used to measure visits and the pages viewed in the portfolio. Vercel states that this data is recorded in aggregated and anonymous form, without third-party cookies or a personal identifier used to track a person across multiple websites. This portfolio does not use advertising or marketing tools. Turnstile is used to secure the form, not for advertising; any technical processing by Cloudflare is described in its privacy policy.
